Step 1 – Log In to Your BlueHost Account
To log in to your BlueHost account, visit the URL my.bluehost.com, and you will be directed to your control panel. In the cPanel, you will find a section named Website, where you will find an option saying Install WordPress with the WordPress icon. Click on it to get redirected to Mojo Marketplace.

Step 2 – Install WordPress On BlueHost

Step 3 – Select Your Domain Name
After clicking the install button for WordPress, the next step is to enter the domain name you are installing WordPress. Besides the box for entering the domain name, you will find a backslash and a box near it that says directory. This is where you decide the directory for installing your WordPress.
If you leave the directory field blank (this is recommended), your WordPress will be installed on the root domain, giving you the address as domain.com. If you enter a word in place of directory such as wordpress, then your WordPress will be installed in that directory, and your URL will be domain.com/wordpress.
Once you have decided upon these, click the button that says Check Domain. It may give you a message saying, “it looks like files already exist in this location,” but you may ignore this notice and proceed by clicking continue.
Step 4 – Note Down Your Login Information For WordPress
Once WordPress installation is complete, you will be redirected to a page that displays your WordPress login credentials. This includes the following:
- Website URL
- Website’s admin URL
- Username
- Password
You will also receive this through a confirmation email. Note them down and keep it safe and accessible.
